Addressing a business challenge:

The company has expanded its management team, with some executives who are long-standing and others who are new recruits. The CEO noticed that many of his company’s managers lacked leadership skills in forming and managing their teams, in making decisions in complex business situations and sometimes even in solving everyday problems. At the same time, all managers have different approaches to managing their teams, which often clash with the company’s values and culture, as well as causing conflict and tension among employees.

Client’s objective:

Prepare a leadership and effective management development plan for managers.

What we did:

We analysed and delved into the company’s problem situation. Together with the company’s CEO, we defined the goals we wanted to achieve and the timeframe. We helped to assess the existing and identify the missing managerial competences. We developed a coherent plan for continuing training and helped select competent lecturers. We advised the CEO in communicating with the company’s executives on the need for training, the value to be created, the benefits to be derived and the engagement to be promoted.
